December 1, 2008 marks the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day. World AIDS Day was established to raise awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic worldwide. To mark this somber occaison, LIFEbeat has several events planned both in New York and nationwide: to remember those who have fallen to AIDS, and to ensure that future generations can protect themselves from HIV infection.
LIFEbeat and Virgin Megastore Raise HIV/AIDS Awareness
LIFEbeat has partnered with Virgin Megastore to set up outreach at several retail locations nationwide! LIFEbeat volunteers and partner AIDS Service Organizations (ASO's) will be on hand to distribute HIV/AIDS prevention information and ONE Condoms® at the following locations:

Out of the Darkness Candlelight Vigil and World AIDS Day Program
