On Thursday, April 24th, Harlem’s hottest boutique N Harlem hosted an intimate pre-concert party to coincide with Rahsaan Patterson’s April 26th performance at The Fillmore at Irving Plaza. Rahsaan’s fans sipped; shopped and socialized for a good cause – LIFEbeat!

Guests dined on hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Cocktail Caterers and complimentary cocktails from Blat Vodka.  Additional sponsorship was provided by Next Magazine. A portion of the proceeds from that night’s sales will benefit LIFEbeat’s outreach programs. In addition to his work with LIFEbeat, Rahsaan will participate in an educational program with GRAMMY in the Schools.

It was a repeat performance on Saturday as his loyal fans turned out in droves for the Fillmore show. No complimentary cocktails here; but concertgoers were treated to songs from his sophomore effort Wines & Spirits. Soulful opening acts Ra-Re and Russell Taylor prepped the audience for the baby-faced crooner’s only New York City performance. LIFEbeat volunteers distributed Trojan brand condoms and our very own "All Access Pass – HIV/AIDS & Safer Sex" guides!

A portion of the proceeds from the New York show’s CD sales will be donated to LIFEbeat.
